Summary

Prof. Ju received his PhD degree in Cryogenic Engineering from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1998. He then worked as a Post-doc Fellow at Department of Applied Physics, Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands from 1998 to 2000, an Associate Professor at Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2000 to 2002 and an Associate Scientist at Nevis Laboratories, Columbia University from 2002 to 2005. Prof. Ju has served as a Full Professor at Institute of Refrigeration and Cryogenics, Shanghai Jiao Tong University since 2005. He is also severed as Guest Professor at Institute of Nuclear, Particle, Astronomy and Cosmology (INPAC), Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Guest Professor at Institute of Cryogenics and Superconducting Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology.

Prof. Ju has completed more than 10 research projects, sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, the Ministry of Education of China, and the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai. He has published more than 120 peer-reviewed academic papers and is the owner of 12 patents in fields of cryogenics and thermal physics. Prof. Ju is now teaching on cryogenic engineering and its application, pipeline network for fluid transmission and distribution, and magic cryogenic world.

5.Invention Award (2nd Prize, Rank 6), 1998, "Research on the pulse tube refrigerators and its application", granted by the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

6.CEC/ICMC Meritorious Paper Award, 1997, granted on the Cryogenics Engineering Conference and International Cryogenics Material Conference (CEC-ICMC), Portland, USA.

7.Editorial board member of Frontiers of Energy and Power Engineering.
