Summary

Dr. Jiangping Chen is Full Professor of the Institute of Refrigeration and Cryogenics at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He has supervised more than 40 Ph.D. and Master Students. He has published more than 130 papers, 78 of which are journal papers. These publications have altogether 1800+ citations. By working closely with the industry agencies and companies, he is the leader of various research projects, funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China, National High Technology Research and Development Program of China (863 Program), General Motors, SAIC Motors, ChangAn Automotive, DunAn, YinLun, etc.

Meanwhile, he serves as advanced expert of Society of Automotive Engineers of China, representative expert of Chinese Government to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), expert of the Hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) replacement in room air-conditioner and mobile air conditioning industry of China Ministry of Environment Protection as well as Consultant for government purchasing project of Shanghai.
