国际友人纷纷来信对四川大地震表示慰问
四川大地震震动了整个世界，近期国际友人纷纷来信表以诚挚的慰问，并对遇难者表示深切的哀悼。以下为几位国际友人的来信。
Dear Dr. Wang
We, here at Bentham Science Publishers, are deeply shocked to hear
about the deadliest earthquake in China, which has resulted in loss
of thousands of precious lives. We express our heartfelt sympathy
with the people of China at this hour of calamity and particularly
with the bereaved families who have been the victim of this
disaster; we assure them that we equally share their sorrow at this
difficult time.
It
is our sincere hope that the great people of China will face this
grief with patience and overcome the shock within shortest possible
period.
The measures, immediately taken by the Chinese Government and
people, to counter the effects of the disaster, are commendable and
at the same time, we look forward to the international community to
play their due rule in the rescue operations and in rehabilitation
of the victims.

From News, I have learnt with a heartbreaking sorrow the terrible
Earthquake that shook and continues to shake your country. In this
difficult circumstance, all my family, and I would like to express
our sympathy to you and, through yourself, to all your compatriots.

wish a speedy recovery to all those who have been wounded by the
Earthquake and its subsequent aftershocks.

I've seen on the TV channels the humanitarian tragedy caused by the
earthquake in Sichuan. I hope that everything is being done in order to
overcome this hard time . I offer my sympathy to all the victims.
